 Welcome to Bond Chartered Architects

Bond Chartered Architects was formed in 1990 and has been providing architectural services for Clients in the local area and across the eastern counties, offering a wide range of skills, specializing in small and medium residential and commercial projects.

The practice was recently shortlisted for the HAA awards by the Hertfordshire Association of Architects, for the conversion of a commercial property in to residential accommodation at Abbots Yard, Upper King Street, Royston.

Practice Outlook

We are passionate about providing design and construction solutions for Clients with small and interesting architectural  projects within the built environment. We are committed to providing a professional service, in which we are able to evaluate our Clients requirements, working closely with our Clients to develop practical and affordable solutions.

Modus Operandi

Our practice has carried out a wide array of projects, each project often providing a new insight and knowledge, which we are able to use and develop future projects. We pay close attention to all projects that are carried out and are involved at every stage of the project.  An Architect is appointed to lead the design process for each project, guiding the Client through each work stage until project completion . Throughout this process the Architect is in close contact with the Client and other design team members.

Sustainability

Sustainability plays a key role in the practices approach to each architectural project. Sustainability covers a wide range of areas from building materials, energy consumption and carbon footprints, to social economic viability. Our practice is committed to working with the natural and built environment allowing the two to be integrated and subservient to one another. The practice is dedicated to continuing professional development in sustainability with resources such as (BRE) British Research Establishment and  RIBA Building Futures.
